But First, Rosé

Kicking off the year with a glass of Rosé (is there any other way?!) with a beautiful celebration of friendship, and baben bridal parties from some of our crazy talented Wild Hearts Tauranga vendors. An edgy, romantic twist on the classic morning of the wedding planned and styled by the lovely Alina of Wild & Whim and captured by Aimee Bailey Photography. We loved everything about this styled shoot and excited to share all the beaut details with you.

Words by Alina – Wild & Whim

If we learned anything from The Spice Girls – and we learned a lot – A) it’s that girl power is forever and B) being different is ok. “But, First Rosé” is a styled shoot that embodies both of these life lessons!

We wanted to create a new idea and swap your typical “bride tribe” for something a bit free, wild and edgy. We thought it would be fun to showcase the pre-wedding fun that can be had with your closest friends. Our aim was for a comfortable girl power vibe that conveys a message of strength and friendship. The moments before you walk down the aisle can be nerve-wracking, so why not have a little pre-game fun with your bridesmaids. It’s the transition between fiancé and wife and enjoying that last little minute with your best babes.

We adore the relaxed vibes of this shoot, with the gorgeous location The Olive Tree Cottage who offered the use of their bridal suite house, which was the perfect setting for the girls to get ready in. The lush greenery and fields around the house allowed for us to use nature’s beauty. Unstructured florals in wild romantic tones by Little Leaf Florals filled the day and helped give the shoot an edgy, modern-romantic vibe.

Without being too stuffy or forced, the girls look totally relaxed and chilled in their Chaos & Harmony heels. The set up with sombre florals and candles adds warmth to the adornments across the length of the beautiful recycled timber table from Twelve Tables. The ample grazing set up along the bar complements the look of the shoot.

Hand-made macramé piece done by Sweet On You added a fun little backdrop for the girls. You & Me Collective sent the most beautiful bridal box, it’s the perfect gift for the bride to be.  A stunning stationery suite from Paper Darling and banners really added to the overall picture of the shoot. Those Cows- I mean how precious and beautiful did they look and especially our front runner with her floral lei.

This concept is for the modern, free, wild bride who ‘gets it’, who understands the vibe of the tribe and wants to hold onto that moment before the wedding.

“Find your tribe love them hard”
