Wild Hearts Tauranga 2018 Recap

What an incredible weekend we’ve just had in Tauranga! For our first ever event in this beautiful city, we at Wild Hearts were blown away by the incredible creativity, talent and amazing personalities Tauranga had to offer.

With an incredible line-up of over 35 talented vendors from around New Zealand and Australia, amazing local foods, coffee, wines and beers, mini-workshops, fashion, shopping and industry leaders, it was a day packed so full of inspiration and creativity. The stunning Ataahua Garden Venue hosted us, where we spread out over the beautiful garden grounds- with those gorgeous Topkata tipi tents popping up amongst the trees and delicious food and coffee trucks dotted around. A giant crystal clear marquee by Twelve Tables sheltered the garden courtyard, styled with striking florals by the insanely talented Shay from On My Hand.

A VIP Haven hosted by our lovely friends at Together Journal gave our lucky VIPs a beautiful space to relax and chat, with the celebratory sounds of Veuve Clicquot popping over the buzz of conversation and canapés by No Biggie Food being served. The area was styled to perfection with furniture provided by Two Foxes Styling, lush greenery by Lofthouse Garden and florals by Flowerette. Industry leaders including the lovely Greta, editor of Together Journal and the fantastic team from Miss Crabb were there to meet and greet guests. Not to mention the goodie bags were out of this world- packed to the brim with generous gifts from our fantastic vendors and sponsors.

Nearby, we had the amazing Benny from World running mini fragrance workshops; educating guests on the world of fragrance and finding their scent. A big thank you to Benny for sharing his extensive knowledge and those beautiful World perfume goodie bags had us all smelling divine.

The sensational Rachel Hamilton performed live, her beautiful voice and acoustic guitar serenading our guests for most of the day, with DJ Highkings taking over to spin live for our afternoon runway show.

Our talented vendors ranged from bridal designers, fashion designers, shoe designers, catering and cakes, furniture hire and styling, floral design, photographers, tents and marquees, stationery designers, food and drink providers and more! It was an absolutely incredible array of the most creative and innovative companies in the industry, and we know our guests left beautifully inspired. A huge shout-out goes to our wonderful sponsors- the beauties behind our VIP haven: Together Journal, Miss Crabb, Veuve Clicquot, Antipodes Sparkling Water, No Biggie Food, Two Foxes Styling, Flowerette, Paper Darling and Lofthouse Garden. The bar was run by Our Place Magazine and Mount Brewing Co, and our furniture partner was the wonderful LL Furniture Hire (including those beautiful white bentwood chairs lining our runway)

Thank you for your hard work and loads of laughs!
